About Bimmer.AI

Independent, UK-focused used-BMW buyer intelligence. Built by a BMW owner who got tired of guessing.

Why Bimmer.AI exists

Buying a used BMW in the UK right now means juggling AutoTrader tabs, Bimmer Post forum threads, HonestJohn owner reports, DVSA MOT history, YouTube reviews, and engine-specific reliability articles — 12–14 tabs per listing, 30 minutes to decide whether the car is worth travelling for, and a real chance of still getting it wrong.

Bimmer.AI collapses that workflow. Paste any BMW listing, VIN, or registration — get the engine identified, the known failure modes for that engine, the recalls that might apply, the UK repair-cost exposure, and a buy/negotiate/walk verdict. In about 30 seconds.

We built it because we needed it. A year of searching for a 530d Touring for a growing family proved conclusively that the knowledge exists out there, it's just scattered. Bimmer.AI is the collated version.

What we don't do

Who built it

Bimmer.AI is a small independent project, built by a UK-based BMW owner with a background in software. The written content is human-authored and reviewed. The technical stack is public — single-file React app for the tool, static HTML for the public content, Cloudflare-hosted throughout.

We are not affiliated with BMW AG. BMW, the BMW roundel, and the model names used throughout this site are trademarks of their respective owners and are referenced for factual, editorial purposes only.
